:swear: ok so the newer p.c. has gone tits up am running xp pro and it keeps on shutting down on its own , am having a hell of a job getting the bloody thing to start up ( keeps on restarting ) have reinstalled os and temporarily cured the problem I am presuming that i have been hit by a virus or other such nasty and was wondering if any body could recommend an anti virus/**** detector/stopper that is available ! on this subject have dumped avg and norton and currently running blueyonder(local service provider ) own pc guard
[google]MS Antispyware[/google] for scanning for spyware. I'd also check that your RAMs ok by taking out 1 of them if there is 2 sticks.
