consider the following hexadecimal subtraction:
B2014-B4201 = ?
if I subtract the above numbers, I get -DE13
BUT, since the second number is obviously bigger than the first one, why can't I turn them around and subtract B4201-B2014=21ED and put a "-" sign in front of the result? I mean, 21ED is the difference between those two.
but DE13 is quite different from 21ED...
like, if i have (in decimal) 4 - 19 = -15; if I turn it around, then 19 - 4 = 15 and put a "-" in front of the 15.
