Hi Everybody! :good: I have some problems, during the setup of my home network! 1. to connect a WinXP none SP and WinXP SP2? 2. to connect a Win98 and a WinXP? btw.....i'm using a switch to connect these together. 1. Why is that the WinXp with the SP2 at the network connection there is yellow triangle with a exclamation mark. And they don't see each other? I guess the service pack locks the network, right? 2. Is it because the win98 has FAT32 and can't see NTFS? how could i anyway setup, that i can tranfer files and other things? and setup that i shall connect to the net via the WinXP with SP2? THX a lot for you help! :good:
You need to install the drivers for the network adaptor or have been installed incorrectly, if so uninstall restart computer and install the drivers again. Have you enabled windows file sharing in xp?
the yellow triangle and ! means that there is limited or no connectivity. so its probably best to reinstall the drivers again
Thanks......i will try to reinstall the LAN driver. And yes i have enabled filesharing! What's with the Win98 and WinXP! how can i connect those?
