Hello guys. I've seen that in some posts some of you have talked about measuring system, CPU, and Video card temperatures. I was wondering what kind of software (other than the BIOS) do you use to measure these? I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some links to those aplications. Thanks
I use Motherboard Monitor. Another one suggested that some people use is Speedfan. Those should work for your motherboard. The Radeon 9600XT and 9800XT's have a built-in temp sensor and you can see the temp somewhere in the drivers (i'm too lazy to work). Some cards offer a temp sensor and use special software packaged with the card to read the temps. I believe Asus does this and Tyan did, but they dropped out of the video card biz a few months back. I'm not sure, but I think Leadtek does have some monitoring as well. Basically, you'll have to check with your video card. If you really need to know and there isn't a built in temp probe on the video card, you can buy a hardware-based one.
Wow! That MOBO Monitor rocks!! Kind of complicated though. Better go read that help file. Thanks guys. :good:
