I have two computers both xp pro sp2 1st with wired connection to wireless adsl modem router and a printer 2nd connected via a wireless pci card. Both can access the internet no problem was wondering how easy it is to share the printer and files ran network wizard on both computers to no avail. Any ideas or good websites (how much work am i looking at?)
hey you will need to keep the PC on which has the printer connected to it. Go to Control Panel > Printer > Right Click on the printer and select the sharing tab and enable it. then go to the second computer, again in the printer folder in control panel and select to add a new printer and choose to add a network printer.
