LCD screens whether TV or Monitors do not last as long as CRT's, however i've never really experienced problems, i have a lcd thats very old and still works as it did when it was new.. except it looks old and knackered (physically) + LCD's do not provide as good an experience gaming wise compared to CRT's, apparently, however i love LCD's i have a 21" and a 17" and prefer them over any CRT.
