I wouldn't. For the whole package, you might be able to get $500, but I can't see anyone who does any research buying that for $1k. You can get a prebuilt system with better specs for dirt cheap, so I can't see them spending much on that system. Unfortunately, systems deteriorate in value very quickly, thanks to a fairly aggressive product cycle.

Ive gotta go with the $500 suggestion.

Its horrible when it comes to selling PCs because they are always worth more than what you'd get if you sold it, if you know what I mean.

Yea, i was thinking about selling my pc some time ago, and at that time, i could get about £800 for it, now, proerbly £500, maybe not even that, and if i sold it when i was thinking about it, i proberbly could of built a new better more up to date rig, the only way i can get mine back to £800 is selling them with my speakers. Everytime a new piece of hardware comes out such as a top fo the line gpu, it starts the bring the price down like a ton of bricks.

It's the FX bit in the graphics card that makes me wince, one of my friends has been having immense problems with that particular card.

On the price front well computer components tend to devalue quicker than a new car out of a showroom.

I'd not say more than $300.

Incidentally when i finally get round to it i'll be selling my current system to my mate for around £70 - $135.

*cough.........erm i really should look at the date of the post before posting. The post's only been up for a year. *Must do better*
