My new system config. -ECS IC780M-A2 (V1.0A) AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard -XFX Radeon HD 4770 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 -Crucial 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) -AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition Callisto 3.1GHz Dual-Core Processor -Blue Star 650 Watt 20/24 Pin ATX Power Supply SATA -artic silver 5 for my cpu HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS 1. will my system rum cod mw2 on high settings? 2. what kind of settings should i use when running crysis? 3. should i replace stock coolers on my video card and cpu befor even attempting to overclock? or can i get away with a little overclocking? 4. how do i check if my system is stable after a overclock? 5.should i apply artic silver 5 to my gpu or leave it how it is? I'd say, yes since it ran on med on my old 7600GS/p4-3.0ht/2gb drr2 system 2. med to high 3. on the video card - not really, on the cpu - probably as AMDs like to get hot and not compensate with automatic performance level lowering 4. do benchmarks and run stress testing programs for several (12) hrs. and monitor heat and artifacts 5. leave it alone hope this helps
