How to check this Monitor?

I bought this Monitor from trademe.co.nz website today. ITs a second hand and I want to check it before paying and picking it up. I have looked on the internet and found it very good. Just want some ideas from you guys on what are the things do I have to check before picking up this monitor?

Seller has told that there are no dead pixels and its in mint condition.

You could test for dead pixels.

I know from calibrating ccd cameras on the back of telescopes that you shouldn't expect all pixels to be working exactly the same. Even still it might be worth displaying an all red, all green and all blue image on the screen and see if it is what you would expect to see. If certain areas of the monitor are displaying a noticably differrent shade of red, green or blue then something might be wrong. I dont know if this would bring up any faults but it kinda makes sense.
 
As I've jumped from 15 to 19", now this thing looks very huge to me. As per the general view, this thing looks fine to me..Good side angles, contrast ratio, response times and no ghosting effect. I will check for the dead pixels as well when I get home.
