how to connect laptop to TV

Hello, I would like to connect my Packard Bell, Easy Note Skype Edition laptop to my Samsung HD ready TV. Does anyone know how I can do this and what leads I need. Any help gratefully received, Thanks

You could use an HDMI DVI cable.

The only thing that you need is a DVI port on your laptop:

See it got smooth for me here. The issue arises when I want to watch TV shows and video sessions which I recorded from my Rhubcom's conferencing appliance right on my pc. After few days hassle it too got done. I just resort to using the headphone connector on laptop. Get a 1/8" stereo jack to dual RCA (red and white) adapter. Then run cables from that to the Audio in of TV. done!
