    Doing something random on the internet i stumbled accross this, techPowerUp! :: How to enable SATA-II and SLI on nForce4 .
    Enabling SLi on my DFI Lanparty UT nF4 Ultra D board that easy? Anyone done this? It speaks about a SLI conector card in the article above, is that this bit?

    Yeah. I have an Ultra-D, but I just don't feel like screwing with it since it's been running great. nVidia found out about this, so you may need to carefully scrape off some covering of those contact points to get the mod working, but yeah, it's just a little bit of modding to get SATA II and SLI going.

    SATA II doesn't do much other than raise the transfer rate ceiling, but SLI would give you some benefits.

    Yeah, that's the part, an SLI bridge, you'd need.

    So i mod the chipset, buy the same sli card (I know they have to be matching) and bridge. Plug them in and thats me? Am i right? Anybody out there done that?

    That's the right procedure.

    I don't know who else has the Ultra-D here, much less done the mod, but guys on XtremeSystems or [H]ard|OCP's forums have, so you might get some more info on the success rates.
