Hi, I'm having big problems connecting my Windows 10 desktop to the internet. Can any tell me how to trouble shoot this? The Problem: The machine connects to the internet, but only sometimes, and the speeds are way below what they should be for connection and compared with other devices. I have this problem with both wifi, and a powerline adaptor. Sometimes when I troubleshoot with the windows connection window, I get a message saying "default gateway not available" but sometimes it's a bunch of other stuff. There is no problem with any other device used on the network (Windows laptop, android phone/tablet, raspberry pi). All these connect just fine with uninterrupted service and get good speeds. What I know so far: I have a budget Lenovo desktop. It originally had windows 8. When I had W8, I had the same problem with wifi, but not with the powerline adaptor. After upgrading to windows 10, I started having the problem with both the wifi adaptor and the powerline adaptor. Does anyone know how I fix this issue?
