    Hi all,

I have 2 pc's at home both connected to the internet via Edimax router BR-6104K, I want to share files and printers with both pc's and of course internet as well.

I now got internet on both pc's but no home network, and when I set permanent ip on both pc's network cards (192.168.2.100 and 192.168.2.101 subnet ip 255.255.255.0) I can't connect to the internet.
I know my router assign ip's automatically for each pc (DHCP enable), and if I set DHCP range for only 2 ip's for example 192.168.2.100 to 192.168.2.101, I still don't got any network between my pc's, and when I reset router he can't always assign the same ip's again and both pc's don't have internet, or router switch there ip's so I need to set port forwarding again to my corrent ip which is pretty annoying.

So if someone know this router and can help me set network with internet with permanent ip's for each pc, that will be much grateful.

I have forgot to put the DNS server, so now I got network with permanent IP but no internet, router shows he is connected to the internet.

    * of course I write those lines after returning to last settings.

Ok solved it, when I created the network, windows firewall turned on automatically and for some weird reason it's blocked my internet connection, as I got none windows firewall, I turned windows firewall off and all work fine now, thanks to all.
