How can i tell if any of these will only take up one pci express slot and not block a second one? As some of you may know i want to put 2 7800gt/x cards into my comp, but i cant decide which of these to get and if they will fit snug or if they will be blocking any pci slots.
The coolers on the 7800GT/X series cards are single slot (unless a special cooler has been fitted), meaning they dont take up the slot next to them.
Pretty much true, the standard stock cooling seen on most GTX's complies with most SLI mobos. It's not fool-proof as not all mobos are designed as well as one another but usually you can through two in. The exceptions being: ASUS EN7800GTXTOP Leadtek WinFast PX7800GTX TDH myVIVO Extreme But you can kind of see that from the pics. Read some reviews if you're not entirely sure but they should be fine.
