HP Omnibook 2100

    This is a long shot, but here goes :)

    Has anyone here owned or used an Omnibook 2100, or similar HP laptop?

    I think it would be unlikely :) but why do you want to know? having problems or something?

    I bought one of eBay that was locked with a BIOS password. I thought I would be able to disable the password by the usual means. Since buying it, i've read on the internet that the Omnibook range are pretty secure. You can't reset the password like you would do on a desktop computer. I haven't tried to unlock it because I haven't received it yet. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience of BIOS passwords with laptops?
