Hi I'm wanting to build a home theatre pc that can handle HD and blu-ray content. From what I've learned by google around and lurking in more than a few forums is that all the components have to be hdcp ready. So what I'm asking is can anyone recommend a mother board that can handle the task of a htpc plus be able enough to do some gaming as well. The board needs to be able to take an Intel core 2duo cpu, Hd audio, though my intention is to run a hdmi cable from my graphic card(need help with choosing one of those too)to my LCD tv and run the audio from the optical out to my amp for 7.1 sound. thanks in advance
Hey, I have an ABIT Fatality motherboard comes with built in HDMI can't remember what model, good board for a media centre and also supports Core 2 Duo's.
