    Hi folks,

I'm having a very weird problem in a friend's computer. He has a dell inspiron 1705 and he is not able to go navigate into http sites but he does into https!!!.
    He is using IE
He has Norton Antivirus and as far as I know he has tried all of these:
    - disable NAV
    - disable all startup in msconfig
    - scan for viruses
    - disable all 3rd parties extensions in IE

Have you heard about this before?

    thanks

as i don't use windowz anymore, so, i may be wrong

have you tried scanning for adware / spyware with Ad-Aware, although i was never a fan of NAV personally i prefer Avast, Avast antivirus is also free & i think it is better than NAV

you could also try using Firefox

BTW Firefox is much better & more secure than IE IMO
