Specs
MB: GAk8NSC-939
CPU: AMD 3200 64
Ram: 2 1 gig Sticks DDR400 Dual Channel
The bios was telling that my settings were not optimized. So I entered the bios and tried to mess with the settings.
I am not sure if I set the CPU to 200 or 400. (I know now 400 is way off but I did not know.) I am sure that what ever setting I choose it changed the ram to 800.
I figured this is the correct setting since the dual channel ram is supposed to run at 800.
I restarted my computer and bios said I needed to enter the Bios because my system is over clocked. I tried to enter the bios but the screen was frozen. So I restarted the PC and now it will not post, my monitor will not turn on.
The Power supply is running and so are all the fans and cd drives.
My question is what could i have messed up and when I replace the hardware how can I be sure the CMOS and bios are reset so I don't duplicate the problem.
