HWF Mousemat & T-Shirt

Sniper sent me a high-res version of the HWF logo, and I've come up with an idea of a mousemat I might have made. It's not amazing but I don't want a complicated design, just something simple.
It's 1600 x 1200, you think this will be good for mousemat size?

I filled in the white areas in blue, I think white wouldn't look good and would be too striking with white.
I didn't spend too much time on it as at the minute I feel like crap.
If anybody wants the .psd file then PM me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail it to you.
I'll start the t-shirt design sometime soon.
So any suggestions? Any other ideas (post pics of your designs here)
 
Yeah I wanted to keep it 'in theme'. Feel free to use it to get your own mousemat.
I'm going to order mine when I've got the t-shirt design done as well.
 
The scaling of the logo looks a little weird as compared to the SVG version I have. Is there a reason for that or is this just a loose draft?
 
This probably won't be the final thing, I didn't spend long, just wanted to get an idea of what it would look and 'feel' like, I feel like crap today and couldn't be bothered to be honest.

You probably have a better graphical eye than me but it looks fine here (although the way I am at the minute I can't really focus on anything...I feel like I've been hit on the top of the head with a cricket bat)
