Ok heres the problem, Im running an AMD (socket A) 3200+ processor 1gig of samsung ddr 400, 80 gig western digital HDD (7200 rpm) with a Nvidia Gforce 7800 GS OC on a ASUS A7n8xe-deluxe motherboard. My Problem is every game i go to play ill be playing it and it will just boot back to my desktop. No problem error or nothing its just like i closed the game out my self. PLEASE if anybody can help PLEASE DO!!! Its frustrating the mess out of me. Any help will be more than greatly appriciated.
Try the graphics drivers as suggested above, but also make sure you have the most recent version of DirectX.
yes my graphics drivers are up to date and my directx is up to date too thats the first thing ive tryed any more info will be greatly appriciated im frustrated
you might want to look into a bios update, as thats fairly new card, it might help. Also, see if there is a chipset update as well, but this sounds like a software problem, and i had a similar problem and it was one of those to that did it for me. Alright, keep us posted.
thanks everyone for the replies. I have now played a game after updating my bios and yes it has not closed out yet. Ive been playing for 3 hours straight.
