Hello. I currently have a Core 2 Quad Q9400 2,66 Ghz with 3GB of DDR2 RAM. I plan on changing the motherboard, CPU, and RAM: AsRock B85 Pro4, Intel i5-4670 and 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RAM. Do you think it is a good choice?
Erm, I don't plan to overclock it. I was asking if there was a better choice (maybe from AMD) in the same price range. Thank you for your reply, though
AMD FX-8320 or FX-8350 and 970 or 990FX motherboard is much cheaper option. As for Intel, there is no reason to buy i5-4670. Overclockers will pay more for K-version and it's more useful in the future. Price difference between two models is neglible.
