    hi guys,

can anybody recommend me suffcient and ideal power supply for Intel P4 and AMD Athlon 64 PCs with 80GB,512,DVD RW and onbaord grapics?

I have been told that 400W is fine for that combination.I have also noticed that when u connet the 550W PSU to old Celeron/AMD Athlon, duronm u usually dont see anything on screen.

    plz suggest the reliable PSU....

    Thanks

Wattage means nothing. I have a 330W power supply by Antec that some companie would try to pass off as a 500W or better unit.

A quality 400W-450W will be plenty for a basic box. Anything from Antec, Enermax, OCZ, Tagan, Hiper, Fortron/Sparkle/FSP Group with a 400W rating will be good...but they rate their power supplies conservatively, not by maximum output.
