im running f@h in my Pentium 4 3.2ghz, 2gb RAM system. I've entered 38417 as the group, so i guess im in the team now eh?
You'll get some really nice large points for your WU's as you've got 2GB of memory - 2GB memory = 600 Pointer WU's
You better watch your back, my blazing pIII@600mhz gets around 2 steps...PER HOUR?! :O Oh n0ez! anyway, welcome and glad to have another member
I just thought i'd say without starting a new thread: My last WU was 600 points. I thought that was pretty impressive!
To be honest, it's hard to say. I haven't been online to send it in about a week and a half. Also, i didn't consistantly work on it. My best guess is maybe two days? But i could be off by a day either way. I definetly would say no more than 2 days if i ran it straight through.
Well, you guys will have one less competitor. I'm retiring from the folding team, since I'm strongly opposed to the biological engineering which is occuring today. It's come to my attention that the protein and genome simulations done by F@H are much more useful for cloning and gene manipulation than for medical applications. Therefore, for idealogical reasons I'll let my idle cycles remain idle. -AT
...whAT?! If that's so, then I'm quiting too. Even though it is medical research, it's not research that I approve of. I didn't know it was for gene manipulation n' such. If I knew that I wouldn't have started.
