On my uncles old laptop. I formatted the drive and installed it but when it boots up it shows two versions of windows 2000 he finds this annoying is there a way for me to get rid of it? I seem to remember doing it before by picking another option that was on the bottom but now there isnt one just the two versions of windows to choose from.
 
Uh you could change the amount of time the choices are displayed to 1 second, which would make it nearly go away.
 
Right click my computer > advanced > startup and recovery settings > edit > then delete the unwanted line in the boot file.
