My computer is running WIN ME and I want to do a fully install of WIN XP sp2. Could somebody tell me what is the best way to prepare the hard drive for WIN XP. Please help if you can.

    Thank You

You are going to do a 'from-scratch' install of XP and not an 'upgrade' install over ME, correct? If so, don't worry about preparing the HDD. Just throw in the XP install disc and use the partition tool included in the installer. When asked where you'd like to install XP, delete any existing partitions and allocate the entire HDD to an NTFS partition. Install XP to that partition.

    All the best,
