    Hi,

I would like to get a clarification on the Graphics driver version numbering of Intel and Nvidia.

Intel uses the following schema to define the driver versions.

    7. 14. 10. 1322
    VISTA DirectX Intel Build number

For example, this driver works with Windows Vista* operating system and supports Microsoft DirectX* 9. The last four numbers represent the Intel build number.

    Intel Identifier Operating System Version
    8 Windows 7*
    7 Windows Vista*
6 Windows* 2000 and Windows* XP
    5 Windows 2000 only
    4 Windows*95/98/98SE/Me or Windows NT* 4.0

    Intel Identifier DirectX* Version
    15 10.x
    14 9.x
    13 8.x
    12 7.x
    11 6.x

    7 Denotes VISTA Operating System
    14 Denotes DirectX 9.x
    1322 Denotes Intel Build Number

What is 10, it denotes for ?

    NVIDIA Graphic Drivers

    NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS
    Driver : 7.15.11.6369

    7 Denotes VISTA Operating System
    15 Denotes DirectX 10.x
    6369 Denotes Intel Build Number

Can anyone help me to find out the significance of digit 10 in Intel and 11 in Nvidia driver version?
