what si the deal with the two diffrent cores for them, and why the rather large price diffrerence between the two. merom or conroe what the the better or worse I honestly cant figure it out and being that the only core 2 duo computer i have used was a mac ti si a rateher wide gap for comparison
You'll see the Core 2 Duo shine when you start to multitask. If you're not doing something multi-threading intensive, you won't see much of a difference (although Core 2 Duo's have very impressive performance in that as well). What two CPU's are you comparing? Merom is the mobile version of the Core 2 Duo (Conroe).
yes i was I was wondering the diffrence there I am sorry for that when i typed in the title i put @ instead of 2 ok so the merom is mobile and the conroe is desktop thats what i wondered about thanks
