The problem is that i get BSOD when i set my cpu to work from all 4 cores, but when i only start from 2 cores it's working just fine. I have runned cpu test at the 2 cores and it's no problem at all. But i cant use my all 4 cores. This things have i cheact: - No overclock (was it before but no any more) - No overheatings problem, it only is about 35C the top temp is 40C - No cabels are disconnected at all! - No updates on my hardware at all (have been updating all) - No ssd problems, have been disconnected and try to install windows 7 but the same error My full spec is Nzxt Phantom Asrock fatal1ty p67 professional Corsair vengance 1866 mzh 4gb Corsair vengance 1866 mzh 4gb Corsair ax 850w Corsair force 3 120gb Corsair h80 Intel core i5 2500k Samsung dvd Msi geforce 560 ti OC editon My Windows 7 . . . - x64 64 bit system - an OEM version of windows 7 home premium - Installed it my shelf (i did build this computer at my own) - My system is only 4 weeks old, the problem did come 3 weeks after, one randome day!
Hi, There are 2 things you may want to try first. If you have not done so already, try booting with just one of your 4 GB sticks of ram to see if it will work. If you still get the error, swap the RAM stick to see if one of those is causing the problem. Also, try them (only 1 at a time) in different ram slots to rule out a problem with the slot on the motherboard. (can also try running a memory test program such as Memtest86+ to check for bad ram too) The other thing you can try is updating the BIOS on your motherboard. It may need a BIOS update to be able to handle all 4 cores properly. (not 100% sure about that for your specific board but I have seen it where a cpu is only recognized and used correctly after a BIOS update... especially if your motherboard is running an old version of the bios)
Hey i have now test all that you have said, no change. Have been disconnect and connected the cpu again. No change that ether. What to do? So strange that i cant log in on 4 cores, but on 2 it works. I dont get it wtf?
