intel D865GSA dual core

    hi
    i have intel d865gsa motherboard with intel 865g chipset . it is supported Pentium D proccessor . can it support's core 2 dual like E5200 or E8500 proccessor. Motherboard also have lga 775 socket and EM64t.

    No your mobo does not support core 2 duo.

    Newegg says your mobo supports: Pentium D / Pentium 4 HT / Celeron D

    So your going to need a new mobo if you want to get a core 2 duo.
