I have two computers a & b. Both the computers were in lan & were working fine, but somehow i felt that the windows of both the computers were having some problem & both the computers started troubling me.But still the internal lan of both the computers were working fine & i could access b from a & vice versa. And with very few options, i had to override\ repair windows of both the computers b'cos of some problems. After finishing the repairing work of both the computers, i found that i could access b from a, i can share, copy, and everything i can do with networking. But i can't access a from b.This message comes in every time i try to access a from b- You might not have permission to use this network resource. Plz contact the administrator of this server.

    Plz help.

    Thanks

Technically this is a Windows file and print sharing problem, not a network problem, so I've moved this thread.

Please read through this and see if it helps to point you in the right direction. Having done that, if you still need help please post again, I'll be able to give you more specific information.

    Helo......Thanks for replying.....
But how should i solve the Windows file and print sharing problem. I have already formatted both the computers but still the problem has not been solved & logically there shouldn't be any problem with fresh installations.

    Thank you.

I don't think it's a problem per se, just that they are not set up. The post I linked to is a generalized walkthrough on how to accomplish that.
