This has to be the coolest most impressive flash player available today. Not only is it the smallest at 1" and super light but it actually has a clear stylish screen, a radio tuner and voice recorder! Now for a package this small I find that just amazing. I don't see the shuffle with those options. 1Gb players start at $130 and come in several colors.

Shopping at Walmart, now? Talk about evil incarnate.

I'm all for Toshiba's Gigabeat series after introduced by a friend. It ain't no inch, but it can hold more than 1 GB anyday.

Everyone knows iPods are overpriced and under-featured, at least they should. Spend $200 more just for a name and admission into the Apple yuppie club? No thanks! I'm half-tempted to get a Gigabeat just to show fellow college students what they're missing out on; sadly Apple's only still selling because it's the established name. They get props for starting the portable mp3 revolution, but nowadays the alternatives are better and better.

WMP annoys the hell out of me, you have to d/l so many plugins just to do simple things like convert music files, for a price too:confused: iTunes has given me very few problems, it's not ideal but I does pretty much everything I've ever wanted very well.
The gigabeats are cool but if I wanted 20gigs I'd get a hard drive based player not a tiny flash based one.

A review or an ad of the player? If it was a review what'd they say about it?

it was a whole page in Stuff magasine with about 1/3 of it writing and the bottom half taken up with a large picture of the player...showing it next to its headphones really does put it into perspective...(i'll take a picture if my webcam works...)
okay it said (typing it up as cant find anything on the net):
