I'd been having some occasional issues (computer would restart during games, once during a dvd). It's very occasional, I figured it was a vista/driver issue. Still planning to try the newest catalyst version sometime..fingers crossed I checked out the IRQ assignments just for grins, and Windows Device Manager reports the video card as "(PCI) -2". Negative 2? What is that about? It's pci express.
I know that with ACPI, virtual IRQ's are used, as you see ones over IRQ 15. On this bit, my guess is that the -2 IRQ is just another virtual IRQ. I understand the 7.8 or 7.9 Cats were some real turds, but I don't know how the 7.10's fare, despite several articles floating around.
