    My System

    AMD Sempron 2600+
    Nforce3 250 Gb U
    Geforce Fx 5700le 256mb
    512 ram

Is this system good enough to run games like cs, fable, warcraft3 with a LCD screen set on 1280x1024 resolution

Pls give me your honest opinion

I will say its capable, but your graphics card isn't great and you'll probably have to turn settings down to play at that resolution. Your card will support an LCD display though.

When using an LCD display, it's best to connect it using a DVI connector rather then a standard VGA (if you have a choice that is)

In a VGA environment, the graphics card has to convert the digital signals into analog so that the monitor (usually CRT) can understand it. You lose picture quality in the conversion process.

When using a DVI connector, the signal stays a digital, giving you the best possible picture.

Most LCDs now use the DVI interface, so its only logical to use it instead of the analogue VGA.

You'd be suprised, a lot of budget LCD monitors only use VGA. Monitors in the 100 - 150 pound range.
