Is The Abit IC7-G Any Good?

    im thinking of buying one and need some oppinions on the Abit IC7-G

    I dont know much about this specific board, but I have used several ABIT boards in the past, and in my experience, are very well made. The only problem that I would see is that it does not have PCI-express, which is definetly going to be important if you plan on using any of the new PCI-express video cards.

    The IC7's are argueably the best Canterwood boards out there. The other main contender is Asus P4C800. Abit's IS7 series is very similar to the IC7's, but use the i865PE chipset instead of the i875P chipset, and again is one of the top motherboards in it's class.

    As Big B said but if you can afford it get the IC7 MAX 3!
    It's a beast!
