I don't think so. If they made more devices like the amazin kindle, which is so simplistic, that you can barely hack anything off it, it can be realiable paper replacements. And perfectly secure software is possible, but it's costly, but immagine if a company had it's own programming language, no one could really knoww how their programs work unless they stole information from the "factory"
