I have finished assembling my new system, but I need a suggestion regarding the PSU. The following is the link of the PSU I have got right now,.. ANTEC 550W http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=22550 The Specs are: AMD Athlon64 3500+ (venice core) Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLi Mobo with U-Guru panel and dual OTES fans 2X1GB Corsair XMS DDR400 PC-3200 RAM Gigabyte GeForce 6600GT 128MB Thermaltake Kandalf VA9000BWS casing (with all fans turned on) 74GB WD Raptor SATA 160GB Maxtor Ultra ATA Sony DVD ROM BenQ 1620 DVDRW IOMagic External CDRW Is the Above PSU fine or not,...???
Specs look fine to me, although I'd check on other similar power supplies from Enermax and Fortron/Sparkle, if you haven't already.
Bags of power! And an Antec.... What else do you want of it? to blow? Only Jesting - this is more than enough and a decent make as well! Nice rig! Hope it works well for you. :good: :good:
its more than enough psus like that should be good for the next two years in supplying power for future computers, and a very good line man cheers
Antec has always been a good brand, however someone who owns alot of computers on another forum told me that they are going down hill latly, dunnue, we will have to see how it plays out.
