    I have finished assembling my new system, but I need a suggestion regarding the PSU. The following is the link of the PSU I have got right now,..
    ANTEC 550W

    The Specs are:

    AMD Athlon64 3500+ (venice core)
    Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLi Mobo
    with U-Guru panel and dual OTES fans
    2X1GB Corsair XMS DDR400 PC-3200 RAM
    Gigabyte GeForce 6600GT 128MB
    Thermaltake Kandalf VA9000BWS casing
    (with all fans turned on)
    74GB WD Raptor SATA
    160GB Maxtor Ultra ATA
    Sony DVD ROM
    BenQ 1620 DVDRW
    IOMagic External CDRW

    Is the Above PSU fine or not,...???

    I believe that the Antec Truepower range are excellant for the money so I'd go for it.

    Specs look fine to me, although I'd check on other similar power supplies from Enermax and Fortron/Sparkle, if you haven't already.

    its more than enough psus like that should be good for the next two years in supplying power for future computers, and a very good line man cheers

    That is way more than enough power for your setup and any setup in the near future (1-2 years).

    Antec has always been a good brand, however someone who owns alot of computers on another forum told me that they are going down hill latly, dunnue, we will have to see how it plays out.
