Is EVGA a good brand ? This Build is for Gaming mostly play online game : Guild War, city of hero and some other 3D games...
That is a good build yes. Two things: a) are you going to be overclocking? If not there is no need for the Zalman coolers, the stock cooling will do fine - this will save you a little money which you may be able to put elsewhere. b) PSU, your power supply is included with your case - this is not a smart move, it may seem convenient and you might think the power supply unit provided is enough, but I would definitely buy a power supply from a known brand, and one which isn't included with a case.
Overclocking is not recommended for those who are not comfortable with the hardware of their system. Overclocking involves increasing the frequency of the CPU/memory bus to improve performance past the manufacturer rated speeds. Sometimes with decent cooling it will work if you push it up a bit, sometimes it won't. Overclocking by 5% would increase gaming performance slightly.
Well, I'm not good at it at all~ This is my final list after I know I am not going to overclock. 1)CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor E6600 (2.4GHz) $ 302 2)GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS4 LGA775 $219.68 3)CORSAIR DDR-2 800 2G (1GX2) $ 259.99 4)PIONEER DVR-111 DUAL 16X DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW $45.57 5)Seagate 160 GB 7200rpm $59.00 6)XFX PVT71PUDP3 GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card EXTREME $209.99 8) Aspire X-Discovery $ 89.90 9)Antec Neo HE 500w Power Supply $ 79.99
