Well, apparently the release date in the US is something like Nov 5. So if that's true, than I doubt they can get it earlier than the release date.
*edit* I guess I was wrong about the release date... Overclockers.uk has it available oct 14 for £339.9. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/X1800_Series.html

Man I've never seen two video cards that close to one another. The GTX is the way to go as it's cheaper and available. 512MB makes little difference I guess (as of yet).
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102610 sorry to hold out the carrot like that Will but Newegg's got em. Why would you upgrade from a X800XT?

errrm, becouse the x1800xt i thought would of been allot better, but i have seen that the 7800gtx beats it still so, i guess my next card would be a 7800gtx, but i suppose i only really need to upgrade motherboard and cpu, and i can play every game out so, i suppose i dont really want an x1800xt :\

Exactly, you don't need a new gfx card, concidering you have a really good one that you just bought after careful concideration. Nobody can have the best and it's never necessary for a good experience.
