    problems with tv-out

I have recently bought a new graphics card(geforce4 Ti4200 128MB) which also involves a tv-out. I used an s-video to scart plug to connect my graphics card with the TV. My problem is that the picture I see on the TV is black & white(!). I have tried lots of things to solve this problem but they all have been useless. I have configured the device settings(in the graphics card's properties)(ntsc-m, pal-b/g etc.) but I can't solve it. If you know anything that can help me please answer. !ThanX!

Hey I found this article, not sure it it will help with your problem or not!
    http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/gf4/geforce4-tv-out.html

Also its been suggested that you need this cable to get color output, it seems to work for other people with geforce cards. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=&product_uid=43237

    also try the following,

    Display Properties/Advanced/Gforcexxx/N-VIEW Display Mode/
    click on yor Secondary Monitor (TV)/Device Settings/Select Out-put Settings/
-on Video Out-put Format choose COMPOSITE VIDEO-OUT

though it seems, that Composite Video-out option is grayed out for most people!
also make sure all the cables are connected, pushed it correctly etc, also I've read if you connect though a VCR it should work.

Thanks about your essential advices. I have finally made it and the picture is no more black and white. The only thing I've done was installing TV-tool. I then run it and ...color! :D
