I was plugging some stuff in on the back of my computer when i hit the power switch on the power strip shuting off my computer from the desktop. since then i can not start my computer, all the led's and fans start up but the monitor is blank. i have an Abit An8 motherboard (the POST led displays CF) and an AMD Athlon 3000+, which i have checked and is fine. my graphics card is a GeForce 6600 128mb. i am not sure exactly what happened but i have tried removing all my unnessary hardware and restarting my cpu clock. can some one tell me what could have happened and how can i fix it, or do i have to replace my motherboard?

This is a pretty common problem and there are several threads on this forum that may be of help to you if you search around a bit. Off the top of my head this one may well help you solve your problem. If not try and nail the problem down more specifically and let me know what you come up with.
