K8 CPU Clock Ratio?

    Hi, since i updated my bios and reset the bios i had this extra feture called K8 CPU Clock Ratio, the options are from 5x to 11x going up in 1, is this to adjust the multiplyer of the cpu?

    Yeah, that's the multiplier. Since you have a regular Athlon64 and not an FX, you can only adjust the multiplier from the stock one on down. If you're not overclocking the HyperTransport bus, then you should just leave it at stock.

    When i overclock the CPU i use FSB and up it to 254 from 200 and change the HT Multiplyer, so if i change the K8 CPU Clock Ratio what dopes it do, allow me to overclock higher with the ram staying at its normal speed?
