Does anyone know of a website explaining the advances in hardware. I only mentioned in a post earlier how Im well behind on it all. Ive just been to overclockers.co.uk and its amazing to see whats available.

Seeing as the springdale/canterwood are *new* to me all this duo core, 1066fsb!!! 3gb sata (whatever happened to scsi?) drives. You can get 750gb drives! 320gb for less than £100!! is mad

What sort of bandwidth can ram reach now? Still 6.4gb/s? What do processors reach now? I cant remember the maths in it all but I think the 800fsb ones were also 6.4gb/s. Can ram meet the processors demands or vice versa?

I suppose a trip to intels site will help.

Best is probably AnandTech: your source for hardware analysis and news

They have interesting and technical articles, you can read previous articles there and have some very itneresting information of the technical aspects of new CPUs, RAM, HDs etc. Its not all about price/performance but the technological advances too.

In addtion to Anandtech, the Tech Report also offers some good articles.
