I had a brief click with Kword, and liked it because of its speed and responsiveness. While I think OO (openoffice.org) is great, its a hog on resources and the GUI isn't attractive, or responsive because of Java. KOffice written with Qt and C means its a lot more nippy. While it may not boast all the bells and whistles of OO or MS Office, its still got enough features for most users. Anyone tried it? i'm quite impressed.
Yes, I've tried it and use it occassionally. After all, the price is right. KOffice used to really be a toy compared to other office suites, but now it's really coming into its own, especially with full OASIS document support.
