i've installed, imageshack toolbar but the toolbar isn't visible checked View -> Toolbars, but the only thing that has changed in FF is: i now have a large blank bar at the bottom of FF

BTW this bar disappears if i uninstall imageshack toolbar, how do i reveal the imageshack toolbar buttons ?

It may be written in Java. Make sure you have java installed and the plugin in place in Firefox.

FF died, reinstalled FF, it now runs but still has large toolbar at bottom, look, and can no longer attach images on HWF in FF (button's <mouse over> effect works but happens when clicked))

uninstalled FF then deleted /usr/firefox/ and reinstalled FF (bar still there), the only way to get rid of bar is to uninstall image shack toolbar, any ideas, or recommendations for a different image hoster that you use ?

You don't need to install the ImageShack toolbar to use Imageshack.

EDIT: The Firefox configuration is not held under /usr/firefox. Look in your home directory for .mozilla

i though it'd be easier to upload multiple images by using the toolbar

I just tried to install the ImageShack toolbar as well but I get the same problem as you - a blank toolbar at the bottom of the Window.

    Must be incompatible then
