So, going down the list with some problems on my laptop, I always have a cpu of 100%. I checked Processes on the Task Manager and it showed that a program called scvhost.exe was the first thing that popped up with a whopping 160,000 K of memory. When I selected that process and went to see which service it was, it showed up as "Uxsms". Im wondering what the service Uxsms does and if its possible to disable it. Thanks in advance
There are probably many svchost.exe processes. I except reason is Windows update as that's quite common. Try this: Start services.msc, open as admin, select Windows update service and stop it.
