Laptop battery replacement

Packard Bell Easynote E6307 when used on battery supply keeps closing down at varying times even though battery icon not exhausted. Thought about replacing battery, so how easy to replace and where to look for it. Any comments welome thanks
 
Sounds like the battery is on it's last legs. They are pretty easy to remove, normally by releasing a latch. The battery will slide out. However, every laptop is different, so you should read the manaul first!

The best place for batteries is probably eBay

Thanks Megamaced, Ive looked up price from retailer and about £100,(didnt think it would be that steep) its only 14 months old so I will try to get a friends battery to use as it may not be the battery at fault but the charging mechanism.
 
The battery was be the same one, theres no universal one so your better off buying a new one really.
