Ok well i just bought a compact presario amd semptron 3500+ 1.8ghz i noticed it was running a bit slow so i checked the system and it says the processor speed is 787 megahurts?? and the pc was supposed to have 512 mb of ram but the system sais 387 mb. i guess the ram is being shared or something? i went into bios and checked the cpu speed and it is 1.8 ghz
The Sempron has a Speed throttling feature when it's not being heavily used! Does the laptop have 32, 64 or 128MB of shared video?
