I've had a problem searching for a cable that connects my laptop monitor..
the screen is acting up whenever it's moved even slightly, to the point it's unreadable.
I assume it's the flexcable that connects the monitor the the motherboard.
The only part online i've been able to find is the "Display Assembly", unfortunatly that also includes the montior itself.. and is rather costly.

Is it possible to change the cable? i've yet to take it apart and see, but it if is i need help finding the part.
I'm not even sure it's called a flex cable, so if i'm calling it the wrong thing, sorry.

    anyways, it's a Compaq 1800T .. model number 18XL4W ..
    thanks for any help.
