Hey there. Just a question regarding the PSU of a laptop. This is nothing to do with the safety of one however, I feel there may be an issue with somebody's laptops' power supply as the person complains that it intermittently 'turns off' and before doing so the screen 'blacks out'. Now, the person has claimed that they have had multiple charger replacements as the pin feels very loose when they plug it in to the socket, however my question is really whether the PSU of the laptop is possibly broken or faulty and may need replacing or if there are any possible temporary solutions that may last a little longer?

The reason I am asking this is because the laptop seems to be 'writing off' multiple charger pins, within such short spaces of time and I would consider that unusual so am wondering if it is something to do with the unit inside the entire laptop.

I would be very grateful if somebody could give advice, as I am beginning to run out of possible ideas. Many thanks.
