LG L1952T-SF LCD 19" Monitor Problems

Hiyah' guys, I have this problem with my newest LCD screen. I've installed it on VGA and it's connected to my computer. Though, the pictures, and mostly text on the screen is some what blurry. I have used the Windows XP feature Smooth Text. It improved it somewhat, the LCD also came with a CD with drivers on it. But I didn't see my LCD monitor version on the CD. I'm thinking, am I not getting the best color from my monitor because the proper drivers are not installed? I wouldn't mind to see some high quality images, and text on this computer screen. I also game allot, so performance is key to me. Thanks allot everyone,

Well, I know that LCD's have a native (optimal) resolution and going with another res presents a sub-par image.

U're not supposed to change LCD screens from their native resolutions. A 19" is supposed to be 1280x1024.
